1. Engine Speed Sensor

The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must know when the crankshaft has reached TDC, and the position of the camshaft, in order to activate the spark and injectors.

If this sensor fails when it fails, the ECU will display an error code P00160. This indicates that the Crank Shaft is not in alignment with the Intake Camshaft. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, 3 were soaked in gasoline, and the 4th was dry. When I crank the engine without sparks, i place a tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline jump out but the 4th one stays shut. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got 0ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is somewhere else.

I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged and runs fine when it is plugged in but it still has intermittent misfire issues at higher RPM. The coolant sensor (G62) even when unplugged, still shows an ice temperature of -49c. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
